We received a request for a quotation for processing a thread described on the customers drawing as a CTC 25 -16.
What kind of screw is this and what is the standard?

A CTC screw thread is used on thin steel conduit.
The standard for a CTC thread is one of the conduit type threads covered by the JIS C 8305 standards for steel conduit pipe threads. Please refer to the explanation below for the dimensional specification with the thread angle of 80°. YAMAWA has a HT CTC 25-16 taps for thin steel conduit threads. In addition, CTC19 to CTC39 are also available as standard products.
